Sheriff Mike Kanalakis Announces New hire of Deputy Sheriff-Recruit

Sheriff Mike Kanalakis is proud to announce the hiring of Deputy Sheriff-Recruit, Anna Rocamora. She was sworn-in on 11/13/07. Sheriff Kanalakis issued the Oath of Office and presented her with her Sheriff’s Office badge. Family and friends of the new employee and numerous current Sheriff’s Office employees attended the ceremony.

Anna Rocamora is a resident of Monterey County. She graduated from North Salinas High School and attended Heald Business College. Prior to being hired as a Deputy Sheriff, Rocamora had worked as a Technical Administrator for Dole Fresh Vegetable
